The department started in 2002 and offers B.Tech degree in Computer Science &
Engineering. It is supported by state-of-the-art facility in the pleasant setting of a
serene campus and located in the CSE & IT block. This professional course offers
the students ample opportunities to contribute to the development of new
technologies in this exciting field. The overall development of the department
and improvement of student's intellectual quality is constantly monitored by
faculty members who are well qualified, experienced and dynamic. The
department provides wide lab facilities for doing C & C++ programming,
Database, Data Structure, Microprocessor Programming. Sufficient computers
are available for conducting different lab classes and doing projects. An
independent lab, comprising of high end systems, is functioning in the
department dedicated exclusively for project work. A documentation centre with
high speed dot matrix and line printers is open during working hours for the
benefit of the students. The department provides additional facilities for add-on
courses like LINUX, JAVA & CCNA training. In addition to the books available
in the college library, there is a separate Department library, which provides
books that cover the core papers for both CSE and IT departments.
