Principal Dr. Ashalatha Thampuran is a renowned educationist and visionary dedicated to achieving global technical education standards in the country. She has over 26 years of rich Technical education expertise behind her.

A first class rank holder and gold medallist at both graduate and postgraduate levels in architecture, Ashalatha Thampuran went on to take her Ph.D in Traditional Architecture from the University of Kerala. The London University certifies her in Housing Development Planning. She began her long stint as a Teacher of Architecture at the Trivandrum Engineering College in 1970. Showing excellence both as an educationalist and administrator. She was the Principal of RIT, Kottayam and later served as the Principal of the Prestigious College of Engineering, Thiruvananthapuram, the premier institution of the state.
