The MCET library will serve as the premier campus information resource and learning centre by providing the students and staff, access to information resources in all formats in a technology–based environment. M-CET believes that the Library collections and its facilities are vital academic resources and the library as the campus gateway to an increasingly busy and evolving world of text, images, and sounds. As such it envisions the creation of a Learning Resource Centre with appropriate digital collections and services that will strengthen process of learning and research. This is achieved by providing personalized services, collection in all formats, access to information regardless of its location and leadership in the use of networked technology. M-CET aims to build a digital library of its collections with links to other library resources accessible through campus networks. This library will be an approachable service oriented resource centre in the near future sensitive to the needs of all users while providing positive learning experience.
