Indian Society for Technical Education Chapter – MCET

ISTE is a national, professional, non-profit making society registered under the societies Registration Act of 1860. The major objective of the ISTE is to assist and contribute in the production and development of top quality professional engineers and technicians needed by the industries and other organisations.

ISTE Chapter in MCET was inaugurated on 27.09.2003. we have about 35 staff members in ISTE Staff Chapter and 394 members in Students Chapter . Both Chapters are actively taking part in organising work shops and Technical sessions. 

Activities in the year 2004

Third Annual state level convention of ISTE Chapter Kerala Section held on 11th and 12th of September 2004 with participation of technical institution across the country

Workshop on Stress Management and Personality development

Study tour to KELTRON, KINFRA, Rajiv Ghandhi Institute of Biotechnology, NTPC.

One week training Program in class room management on professional courses including various topics for class room management, stress management, Dynamics of motivation, Black board techniques and group discussion. The Class room Management topic was handled by Dr VKS Manon, Stress management by Dr. K P P Pillai , Achivement Motivation by Dr. Suresh Babu, management of Lab classes by Dr. Achuth sanker.
