General Rules



» Class Timings: 9 AM to 4 PM with an interval of one hour from 12 to 1 PM.

» Extra-curricular/Co-curricular activities: 4.00 PM to 5.00 PM. All students are expected to take part in the activities on a regular basis under the supervision of staff member.

» The students should be inside the classroom before 9 AM.

» Students will not be permitted to leave the campus between 9 AM & 5 PM without the prior permission / sanction of the Principal.

» Students are expected to maintain a very high order of discipline. No effort shall be spared to conduct themselves at all times, at all places, and on all occasions in a manner worthy of students of a course which is to lead them to high responsibility in the future.

» The college properties should be handled with maximum care and everything possible should be done to preserve the cleanliness, and tidiness of the building, furniture, library and premises. Fine will be imposed for damages to equipment, furniture, building etc.

» Students, who happen to have free hours, are not allowed to either loiter in the verandahs during class hours or disturb other classes. Abstaining from class en-mass is considered as a serious offence for which disciplinary actions will be taken.

» Every student shall provide himself / herself with the entire prescribed textbooks, drawing instruments and accessories and other such articles, required for the classroom work.

» Students are expected to adhere to the dress code prescribed by the institution. Boys should wear trousers and shirts half sleeves tucked in and their feet should be protected with socks and shoes. Girls should wear Salwar Kameez and Dhuppatta, socks and shoes. Girls should take care to tuck their hair. Any change from the dress code is permitted only with the consent of the Principal on special occasions. The ID cards should be displayed whenever they are inside the campus.

» Ragging in any form is strictly prohibited in the college according to the directions of the Government of India. Penalty measures to those found guilty of ragging will extend up to immediate expulsion from the college.

» Unauthorized absence from the classes will be taken seriously and disciplinary action will be taken. Previous sanction from the HOD should be obtained for all absence. If the absence is more than 3 days medical certificate should be produced.

» Silence should be maintained in Library and Computer Labs. Library books should be handled with care. Rules pertaining to the issue of Library books should be adhered to.

» Principal’s decision regarding the general discipline will be final.
