Sports and Games

Mohandas College of Engineering and Technology is given due importance to physical education activities along with academic subjects for the all – round development of the students. Here we provide facilities for in door and out door activities. Indoor facilities are provided for Table Tennis, Chess and Caroms. Outdoor facilities are provided for Volleyball, Basketball, football, cricket, shuttle Badminton and athletics.
The sports club is under the charge of Prof.T.M.Joseph.
18,19 Feb’03- College Athletic Meet- It has chalked out a series of athletics and games which brought wide participation from the students. Dr. B. Iqbal, Vice Chancellor, University of Kerala, Inaugurated the meet.

Smt.Rani Mohandas, Secretary, VNGP memorial trust took the salute during the inaugural ceremony and declared open the sports meet on 26th Feb, 2004. Nabil Mohd Najeeb and Shakhi B.S of Biotechnology were the individual champions.
The teams of basketball, football, cricket, volleyball and badminton participated in Kerala University sports meet and presented a high level of performance in the respective events.




Arts Festival

The third Arts Festival of the college was conducted on 1st and 2nd October ’04.Sri. G Gopalakrsihnan, Theatre Artist was the chief guest. Prizes in connection with the arts festival was distributed during the occasion. Arun V.S became the Kalaprathibha and Lekshmi G Kumar was the Kalathilakam. Arts Fest Trophy went to Sarabhai House.
