Mohandas College of Engineering and Technology
M-CET, (Affiliated to University of Kerala, AICTE New Delhi Approval No: 06/06/KER/ENGG/2002/12), is the prestigious technical education project of the leading industrial group –The Mohandas Group of companies, Thiruvananthapuram. The college is managed by V.N. Gangadhara Panickar Memorial trust. The college is affiliated to the University of Kerala and is offering B-Tech Courses of 4 years duration.
Embedded in the most advanced theoretical, empirical, and applied methods and a creative endeavor,
the wide range of academic disciplines in Biotechnology, Electronics and communication, Information
Technology, Computer Science and Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering expand the
realm of knowledge here. Sanction has already been accorded by AICTE to start undergraduate courses
in Mechanical Engineering and postgraduate course in Master of Computer Applications.
This institution strictly adheres to the procedures and policies of AICTE and ISO and as a part
of its quality assurance the college has received ISO 9001: 2000 Certification.
The institution promotes and champions learning by providing a variety of instructional
settings where students and faculty can share and create new knowledge in science and
technology. It distributes knowledge to an audience of peers and citizens through a
great diversity of academic literature and professional activities. By laying out
facilities and infrastructure along with an ambience that enables the students to
bring out the best in them, the institution aims to create new opportunities that will
advance our society and solve a variety of technical and social problems.

and co-curricular programs.
Residential Campus
Designed as a Residential Educational Township, M-CET is situated in a 30-acre plot,
which is endowed by nature’s naked serene loveliness in bounty. Separate hostel facilities
to accommodate 500 boys and girls with spacious furnished single/triple bedded rooms are
available inside the campus.
The Mission
M-CET commits to produce graduates who can succeed in their careers or do well in
their higher learning ventures and who will be good citizens. The institution is
poised to develop and implement curricular, co-curricular, research, and public
